Advanced Semiconductor PDK Specialist

In the role of an Advanced Semiconductor PDK Specialist, you will be instrumental in connecting innovative technology with digital frameworks to investigate state-of-the-art CMOS advancements beyond the 2nm threshold, including back-side power delivery, CFETs, and 3D stacking methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and sustain Process Design Kits (PDKs), concentrating on technology specifications and physical verification rule sets.
  • Collaborate with process engineering teams to establish design guidelines and guarantee precise physical validation.
  • Evaluate compromises between process capabilities and design specifications to derive optimal solutions.
  • Work alongside design teams to ensure successful physical verification approvals.
  • Independently manage a comprehensive PDK workflow.

Essential Qualifications:

  • PhD in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or comparable expertise.
  • Proficiency in developing PDK components (LVS, DRC, extraction).
  • Deep understanding of digital physical implementation processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced semiconductor manufacturing techniques.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Skilled in programming, version control, and documentation practices.
  • Experience with EDA layout tools and electronic circuit simulation software.
  • Knowledge of synthesis and physical design tool workflows.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
