We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at N D Oliver & Co Ltd, a leading developer and manufacturer of fine chemical products. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the formulation, development, and testing of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis of incoming raw materials, intermediate checks, and final products to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Formulate products at bench scale and assist in the transfer of these to plant scale.
  • Blend and fill at bench scale to make trial formulations of products.
  • Provide customer support via updates and be available to answer questions on product development.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of chemistry and laboratory procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute to the development of new products.
  • Relevant laboratory experience and a degree-level qualification in a scientific field (although not essential).
