Insurance Broker Opportunity

About the Role

Brown & Brown is seeking a skilled Insurance Broker to join our team in the South West region. As a Personal Lines Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on their personal insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and deliver against agreed Renewal Retention or New Business Targets, contributing towards the team's overall targets & KPI's.
  • Conduct thorough pre-renewal reviews with clients annually to ensure they have the most suitable policy and product.
  • Invite all Personal Lines policies in good time, in line with our operational guidance of 21 days prior to the renewal date.
  • Ensure policies are renewed on or before the renewal date.
  • Complete all roles and tasks as required by your line manager, ensuring all operational priorities and company rules, procedures, and policies for risk and compliance are adhered to.
  • Manage and prioritize your tasks to keep them up to date and not overdue.
  • Identify and discuss with clients cross-sell opportunities.
  • Adhere to our Training & Competency scheme and pass audits.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance covering either Motor and/or Household risks.
  • Insurance experience of handling new enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Good knowledge of the Personal Lines Marketplace.
  • Ability to identify the best policy to meet clients' needs.
  • Ability to take responsibility for own performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
