Job Title: Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team at Thames Water Utilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of our services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate complex operational problems with our clean water network, identifying solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate and support confined space work, ensuring compliance with business procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate asset maintenance activity with delivery partners.
  • Provide technical support to conclude solutions to problems and ensure a robust, stable, and efficient network.
  • Deliver event crisis management plans, minimizing service interruptions and impact on customers.
  • Work alongside field teams and customer solution centers to identify causes of complex/difficult problems and find suitable resolutions.
  • Audit contractors to ensure works are completed to Thames Water standards and in line with compliance.
  • Provide information on required maintenance and improvement, and assist with contingency planning.
  • Report back to the business on the performance of your region, highlighting high risks to the business.
Requirements:
  • Fully proficient in using Company IT systems and office software.
  • Previous experience within the Water Industry, ideally on water networks.
  • Delivering customer excellence through network delivery.
  • Strong business/stakeholder awareness, innovative problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
What We Offer:
  • Salary up to £43,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
