Principal Computational Genetics Scientist Role

CK Group is seeking a highly skilled Principal Computational Genetics Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical company based in Slough on a contract basis for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the analytical workload within a dynamic group that develops and applies leading-edge analytics and approaches.
  • Work on projects with an outward-facing role, potentially leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Apply expertise in statistical genetics, computational skills, and data interpretation to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • Direct experience in analyzing and using genetic data from multiple platforms and analytical approaches.
  • Expert knowledge of statistics, computational skills, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to work in a cloud environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in applying genetics and genetic approaches to drug discovery and development.
  • Expertise in methods for functional interpretation of genomics data.
  • Ability to understand and integrate data from other sources.
