About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Community Services team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs and eating disorders/disordered eating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive, patient-focused nursing assessments and co-produce care plans in consultation with the service user and their families and carers.
  • Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and formulate risk management plans with Service Users, their families, and Carers.
  • Assist the Unit Manager in developing a service that meets the needs of patients with regard to their age, spiritual, cultural, ethnic, and sexual orientation.
  • Support the Unit Manager in the ongoing development of the unit.
  • In the absence of the manager, take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the unit.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of individual care for patients and that they are fully consulted and involved in every aspect of their care.
  • Provide management and clinical supervision to members of staff.
  • Liaise effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and statutory and non-statutory organisations involved with client care.
  • Contribute to ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice is carried out by all staff within the unit.
