About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Ritz Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve weekly and monthly visit targets to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
  • Focus on achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining margin and ensuring the growth of existing business.
  • Proactively manage and develop existing accounts to achieve target spend while maintaining and developing margin.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the sales territory by geographically splitting the area to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Attend networking and trade events to establish relationships with potential clients and promote our services.
  • Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact to achieve agreed business aims, including costs and sales.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries to ensure timely conversion into new business opportunities.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions to promote our services and build relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to accompany at external meetings with customers and prospects as necessary.
  • Delegate new business leads in a prompt manner, including providing quotations, information, and maximizing conversion of said leads.
  • Generate quotations and actively follow up to convert quotations into orders being placed.
  • Provide technical sales advice and support to customers and the sales team to ensure the growth of existing business.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 basic + commission + company car, as well as a dynamic and supportive work environment.

The role is office-based, with regular travel to meetings and events.
