Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a homely environment for young people in our care. This includes completing key domestic duties on a day-to-day basis and encouraging the development of individual interests and attitudes through planning and participating in activities.

Key Skills and Qualities
  • Ability to promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of each young person in accordance with Working Together to Safeguard Children
  • Experience of supporting young people who may be vulnerable
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a positive team player
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level
  • Empathetic nature and ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people
