Job Title: On-Site Services Manager

Based in the North of Aberdeen, KBM Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Services Manager to join their team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operations of the Service Centre, providing excellent leadership to the team, and carrying out operational duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Lead by example and promote positive health and safety behaviours within the team.
  • Team Management: Supervise, coach, mentor, and manage employees to improve team cohesion and personal performance.
  • Resource Management: Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure effective and efficient use of workshop resources in line with business objectives.
  • Job Management: Monitor progress of jobs to ensure well-regulated management of all variables and swift resolution to any emergent problems.
  • Documentation: Ensure all documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner, communicating all updates to relevant personnel.
  • Customer Service: Assist in the investigations and resolution of customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Company Initiatives: Proactively engage and support company initiatives, ensuring a culture of zero-harm to staff, clients, and the environment.
  • Teamwork and Innovation: Promote teamwork, accountability, and support innovation to drive continuous improvement ideas.
Requirements
  • Engineering Background: Preferably, you will have served an engineering apprenticeship.
  • Communication Skills: Be a strong communicator who can lead, motivate, and influence others.
  • Methodical Approach: Methodical, solution-focused, and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Decision Making: Confident decision maker.
  • Change Management: Able to drive effective and efficient change.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages.
