ATA Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent global manufacturer specializing in high-precision machine components and cutting-edge automation solutions, primarily serving the Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Renewable Energy, and Aerospace industries.

With an impressive turnover of £260 million and a workforce of 1100 across 30 global locations, including the U.K, Switzerland, USA, Korea, India, and China, our client is at the forefront of design and innovation. They are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to enhance their successful UK team, focusing on delivering technical expertise to both new and existing clients. Typical order values range from £30,000 to over £1 million, encompassing both new business development and account management.

This role is ideal for a motivated and dynamic Technical Sales Engineer eager to explore new opportunities in a rapidly expanding market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored technical solutions from the company's diverse product range.
  • Identify and engage new clients across various sectors and industries.
  • Provide clients with functional packages and comprehensive automated solutions.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients, addressing incoming inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product offerings.
  • Schedule client meetings, conduct site visits, and follow up on provided quotations.
  • Transfer completed technical specifications to production teams efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and managing existing client relationships.
  • Proven experience in Technical Sales.
  • Relevant engineering qualification.
  • Experience collaborating with OEMs, machine builders, or systems integrators is desirable.
