No prior teaching experience necessary - comprehensive training, support, and development will be provided.

Compensation:
£26,000 annually with opportunities for advancement up to £31,000 annually

Important Note:
The initial salary of £26,000 will be effective from a specified date. If employment begins prior to this date, the starting salary will be at the current rate of £24,000 until the salary increase takes effect.

Performance Bonus:
£1,500 annually based on individual and company performance. Estimated earnings for the first year: £27,500.

Leave: 12 weeks of paid vacation each year

Work Location:
Instruction will take place in various primary schools within a designated regional area.

Travel Reimbursement:
Additional fuel contributions provided on top of the salary.

A valid driving license and personal transportation are essential for this role.

Role Overview


Conduct engaging and inspiring music lessons in a rock and pop band format across multiple primary schools weekly.

Serve as a role model, empowering students to participate in live performances at termly concerts.

Provide children with their first experience of playing an instrument, fostering their confidence, resilience, and overall well-being through collaborative music-making.

Represent Rocksteady, cultivating strong relationships with schools, educators, and parents.

Engage in a physically active role, which includes setting up and dismantling band equipment multiple times daily while delivering lessons with enthusiasm.

Qualifications and Skills

Possession of a valid driving license and personal vehicle is required.
Proficiency in at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals.
A genuine passion for teaching (extensive training and support will be provided).
Ability to work in a manner that prioritizes the safety and well-being of children and young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
Outgoing, confident, and approachable demeanor.
Strong independent worker with effective time management abilities.
Attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
High integrity and resilience.
