About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our Longhurst contract team at Fortem Cares. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out predominantly reactive maintenance, repairing and renewing sections on a wide variety of different roof types, including slate tile repairs, flat roof / torch on repairs, and general roof maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fault diagnosis and communicate additional works required back to your Supervisor/Line Managers to ensure all follow-on works have been captured.
- Ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision.
- Repair and renew guttering, work on scaffolds, and carry out scaffold inspections.
- Operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.
Requirements
- PASMA trained and experience of carrying out scaffold inspections (training will be provided if you do not have this).
- Good knowledge of H&S and working at height.
- Certificate or NVQ in Roofing, or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
