The Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our Longhurst contract team at Fortem Cares. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, repairs, and renewals on a variety of roof types, including slate tile repairs, flat roof/torch on repairs, and general roof maintenance. You will also repair and renew guttering, work on scaffolds, and carry out scaffold inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality work with minimal supervision
  • Diagnose faults and communicate additional works required to supervisors/line managers
  • Operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and budget parameters

Requirements

  • PASMA trained and experience of carrying out scaffold inspections (training will be provided if necessary)
  • Good knowledge of H&S and working at height
  • Certificate or NVQ in Roofing, or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
