Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team in Aylesbury. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, from planning to completion. You will work closely with our project management team, site managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit reports to project managers and other stakeholders on project progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in civil engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction software.
