About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team at Williams Trade Supplies. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our trade counter and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Customers: Provide excellent customer service on the trade counter and over the phone, responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Order Processing: Process quotes, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
  • Warehouse Management: Assist with stock rotation, general housekeeping, and receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Carry out deliveries in the local area, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
  • General Duties: Assist with various duties as directed by the Branch Manager and their assistant, including administrative tasks and other responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility: A flexible approach to duties and tasks, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Teamwork: An enthusiastic team player with the ability to make a positive contribution to the team.
  • Ambition: Ambitious to progress and keen to learn, with a desire to develop skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence.
