Job Overview

Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Summary

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Network Plus Services, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies and managing financial performance for our clients. This position requires you to oversee all financial elements of projects, ensuring that commercial and contractual matters are effectively handled. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving the desired profit margins while maintaining high standards of financial management.

Key Duties

We are seeking a professional who can:

  • Oversee contract performance, including regular profit and loss reporting.
  • Examine contract documents to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Manage progress and cash flow forecasts effectively.
  • Handle commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs), and Project Finance Reports.
  • Take charge of Subcontractor Management, including forecasting, order placement, and negotiation of terms.
  • Prepare and assess subcontract documents and quotations.
  • Supervise subcontract orders, valuations, invoicing, and final account agreements.
  • Manage the change control process, along with risk and value management.
  • Track project changes, variations, and notices diligently.
  • Evaluate and value variations and compensation events.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications, ensuring final accounts are agreed upon.
  • Participate in risk reviews, progress meetings, and commercial discussions with clients.
  • Engage actively in tendering and pricing processes.
  • Oversee credit control, focusing on cash recovery and forecasting.
  • Support the operational team in various commercial and contractual matters.
