About the Role
Are you a care assistant eager to support individuals with brain injuries in their daily lives? This is a fulfilling opportunity to assist those who experience epilepsy, providing the necessary support and expertise they require.
Candidate Requirements

This position offers great flexibility, allowing you to choose from various hours and locations, primarily seeking care assistants in the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to service users with unique needs and promote independent living skills.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of service users, colleagues, and visitors.
- Administer the correct medication and dosage to individuals as required.
Additional Duties
- Address safeguarding issues promptly, following company procedures.
- Assist or guide service users to enhance their independence.
- Report any concerns regarding the welfare of service users in accordance with company protocols.
- Provide personal care, including medication management.
- Accompany service users on outings and to appointments.
- Effectively manage emergency situations, contacting necessary services and adhering to protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar support role.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles.
- Comfortable with housekeeping and basic food preparation.
- Ability to provide a reference history for the past 2 years.
