About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Refresco Bridgwater. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facility, which includes 27 production lines running 24/7.

Your primary focus will be on delivering a high-quality engineering service, rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults. You will work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to complete a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a high-quality engineering service
  • Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults
  • Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base
  • Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards
  • Getting involved with factory improvement projects
About You

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-skilled engineering background. You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, but we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex-military are welcome to apply.

Key requirements include:

  • L3 engineering qualification or time served
  • Multi-skilled background – either biased
  • Be confident enough to put forward new ideas and suggestions
  • Be accurate in your daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail
  • Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment
  • Further skillset overview: fault finding in panels, Sensors, Relays, Inverters, Drives, Motors, Pumps, Pneumatics, and Pipework
