Job Summary

The company Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, operating, and monitoring technical services in buildings and electrical systems to ensure safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new engineering products and processes
  • Analyse prototype data and retest as needed
  • Research new product ideas and methods
  • Improve existing products and processes
  • Install and commission controls for systems such as lighting
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of results and design

Requirements

  • Experience in the electrical design field
  • Ability to use AutoCAD and relevant software
  • Technical and commercial management of projects
  • Consideration of business, client, and end-user needs
  • Work within financial and safety constraints
