About the Role

The Priory Group is seeking a skilled Psychology Assistant to join our team. As a Psychology Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams in delivering high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake protocol-based psychological assessments of service users, applying psychological tests and measures under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
  • Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans, involving the psychological treatment and/or management of service users' problems, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
  • Support the co-ordination and co-facilitation of therapeutic groups as appropriate.
  • Assist with the planning, delivery, and review of one-to-one sessions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including case notes, case files, clinical reports, and other associated documentation.
  • Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings as required.
  • Support and undertake data collection and analysis for research and service evaluation purposes.
  • Contribute to the training and support of other staff members.
