Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and knowledgeable Shopify Developer to join our talented team on a freelance basis. In this role, you will be tasked with designing, improving, and managing Shopify stores that create captivating user experiences and drive online sales for our clients. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and personalize Shopify themes to build distinctive, visually appealing, and user-friendly ecommerce websites.
  • Install and configure Shopify applications to enhance the functionality of clients' stores.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring quick load times and a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to transform creative ideas into operational websites.
  • Adhere to conversion rate optimization roadmaps and implement tracking for various experiments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, including bugs, performance challenges, and third-party integrations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Shopify trends, features, and best practices to ensure clients' stores remain competitive.
  • Offer technical support and training to clients, enabling them to effectively manage their Shopify stores.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Shopify Developer with a robust portfolio of Shopify projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
  • Experience with Shopify's APIs and integrating third-party applications.
  • Strong grasp of ecommerce best practices, SEO, and conversion rate optimization principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
  • Experience with other ecommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) is beneficial but not mandatory.
