About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Paediatric Consultant to join our dynamic team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our perinatal service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in neonatology and general paediatrics
  • Develop and implement training programs for junior colleagues and advanced neonatal nurse practitioners
  • Contribute to the development of sub-specialty interests and strategic direction of the Trust
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team working and regular MDT discussions
  • Undertake ward rounds, aiming for partnership with parents
  • Develop and implement clinical audit and continuing medical education activities
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the GMC
  • CCT (or equivalent) in the specialty of Paediatrics and Neonatology
  • MRCPCH(UK) or equivalent
  • EPALS/APLS provider or equivalent
  • NLS provider or equivalent
  • SPIN module in Neonatal medicine
  • Level 3 Safeguarding training
