Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager - Specification to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their territory, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving business growth through specification sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with M&E consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to win specifications and increase contribution levels.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Director and contracts department to provide support and guidance on contract management.
- Share and gather pipeline opportunities with merchant partners and have a clear sales development agenda for all discussions.
- Represent the company at trade events and exhibitions as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in specification sales, with a successful track record in the M&E sector.
- Graduate or graduate calibre, with good technical knowledge of heating systems.
- Independent and able to work from home, with strong self-motivation and a ability to work as a constructive team member.
- Able to prospect qualitative leads, negotiate, and manage objections.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make group presentations and deal with questions confidently.
