About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Risk and Finance Data Transformation and Regulatory Change portfolio. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in defining and realizing solutions, processes, benefits, and new opportunities to deliver to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the analysis of complex cross-franchise and pan-group processes and data, including capturing requirements, inputting them to design solutions, and ensuring they align with key strategic principles.
  • Build, manage, and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions.
  • Analyze and understand the change impacts to regulatory metrics and reports.
  • Understand key regulatory metric drivers, providing subject matter expertise and input regarding the wholesale and retail business.
  • Perform impact assessments on new changes and communicate findings to Finance senior management.
  • Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project to validate the solution design.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and help business users in executing UAT.
Requirements
  • Detailed understanding and experience of relevant regulatory rules.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • People, process, and systems skills, with an understanding of and keen interest in improving existing systems and challenging existing processes where appropriate.
  • Qualification as a chartered accountant, with a good record of application within a business environment.
  • Experience working in regulatory change projects and programs.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to set exemplary standards of delivery for yourself.
  • Strong attention to detail and drive to grapple with complex, untested issues and formulate possible solutions.
