Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a confident and communicative individual to join our team as a Civil Enforcement Officer. As a frontline worker, you will be responsible for advising on and enforcing the Authority's traffic orders, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic in our community.

Main Duties

  • Patrolling public streets and council car parks to advise on and ensure consistent application of traffic orders
  • Responding to enquiries and providing advice to members of the public
  • Recording and issuing PCNs using available or computerised systems
  • Collecting and replacing cash boxes at designated car parks
  • Checking that parking signs, road markings, and notices are in good condition

Requirements

  • A love of working outdoors and being active
  • Experience of interacting with members of the public
  • The ability to communicate confidently with people from all walks of life
  • Ability to deal with confrontation situations
  • Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
