RSM is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Real Estate group. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on tax matters to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client business objectives
  • Manage and review complex tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and manage risk
  • Assist with new business development and client acquisition
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field of study
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or EA certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Accounting
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
  • Experience with S-Corps, C-Corps, or Partnerships
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740
