Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Reed Specialist Recruitment. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the on-site aspects of surfacing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently to a high-quality standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and monitor performance against the programme.
  • Offer day-to-day engineering/technical guidance on site, identifying and resolving potential or actual technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Safety Management Systems and Procedures, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Liaise with customers and statutory agencies to ensure successful project delivery and maintain good business relations.

Requirements:

  • Tarmac experience
  • Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of one year's experience as a Site Engineer within the civil engineering industry.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on groundworks.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
