About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our West Norfolk CAMHS Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people under the age of 14 with complex mental health needs.

As an Assistant Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to assess, formulate, and deliver psychological interventions to young people and families. You will also be responsible for conducting reviews alongside Clinical Psychologists, supporting the wider psychological therapies team, and monitoring clients on waiting lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate psychological interventions for young people and families
  • Deliver group and family interventions
  • Conduct reviews alongside Clinical Psychologists
  • Support the wider psychological therapies team
  • Monitor clients on waiting lists
Requirements
  • BPS accredited degree in Psychology
  • Experience of quantitative research
  • Experience of research in the NHS
  • Skills using microcomputers for databases or data analysis
  • Ability to communicate sensitive information to patients and colleagues
