About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our team as Navigators and Rapid Response Senior Navigator. As a Navigator, you will act as the first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and professionals supporting them, providing holistic and non-judgmental information, advice, and support. You will support survivors to access additional specialist sexual violence services through trauma-informed triage and assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial support and guidance to survivors of sexual violence
  • Assess and triage survivors' needs, identifying appropriate services and resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and initiatives
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with survivors of sexual violence or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of local services and resources for survivors of sexual violence
