Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee traffic management on highways and utility projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on traffic management in a highways or utilities environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planned and reactive traffic management on a fast-paced utility contract
  • Ensure that all works are permitted to allocated time-scales
  • Ensure that all work job packs are complete for operatives and logged on in-house system
  • Act as the client's point of contact, dealing with any site issues
  • Regular liaison with the client, helping to build a good relationship
  • Ensure that all site clearances are carried out in a timely manner
  • Carrying out site audits when required

Requirements:

  • Previous project management experience of traffic management in a highways or utilities environment
  • Driven individual with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of streetwork permitting conditions
  • Lantra M7 qualification would be an advantage. Training can be provided if not
