Senior Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Kier Group, working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Regional Civils team based in the Midlands.

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong background in regulated utilities infrastructure or the built environment sector. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a programme of works spanning the Canal & River Trust and similar natured clients with river, canal, and reservoir assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver schemes from concept through to pricing, delivery, and close out, working alongside Estimating, Commercial, and Project Management functions to ensure timely and smooth delivery.
  • Monitor the performance of the Project Management team and implement improvements as needed.
  • Manage operational communications and relationships with customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies for the projects.
  • Fulfil contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximising gross margin and customers' satisfaction.
  • Manage the finances (revenue, costs, and cash flow) of projects.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree (or equivalent) and experience within regulated utilities infrastructure or the built environment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts and Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
  • Working knowledge of CEMAR and SharePoint.
