Interim Senior Data Protection Counsel Opportunity

Taylor Root is pleased to be working with a world-renowned marketing and technology business to help them recruit an Interim Senior Data Protection Counsel on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading organization and contribute to the development of their privacy compliance framework.

As part of the group legal team, you will have the chance to shape and mature the organization's privacy culture, ensuring that data protection is embedded across all business areas.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Qualified solicitor (minimum 7 years PQE)
  • Successful track record in GDPR privacy law and experience working in a large global organization
  • Keen interest in and experience of working in a fast-paced technology business
  • Experience in policy, standards, and controls writing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ad Tech and Machine Learning experience highly desirable
