Job Title: Senior In-house Data Protection Counsel

Taylor Root is seeking a highly skilled Senior In-house Data Protection Counsel to support the Global DPO in delivering compliance priorities, projects, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data protection law and experience advising on global data protection matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Global DPO in reviewing, preparing, and providing advice on data protection agreements, including standard contractual clauses and transfer impact assessments.
  • Work closely with the Privacy Operations team on data subject access requests, data incidents, and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
  • Support the Legal Department's provision of advice to lawyers within the Firm's practice groups in relation to the Firm's data protection obligations globally.
  • Stay up-to-date with privacy law developments and practice in the UK and EU, as well as in jurisdictions where the Firm operates.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer in England & Wales (or another common law or European jurisdiction).
  • Demonstrable experience advising on data protection matters across a global organization.
