Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our client's exceptional care home in the Diss, Ipswich area. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance and supervision to ensure excellent care standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and care planning to ensure residents' needs are met and their care plans are up-to-date.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the care team, ensuring residents receive person-centered care.
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
  • Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Good understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and medication administration.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights, and weekends.
