About the Role

Job Summary:

School Jotter is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team for 2 days a week. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy that supports our mission to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust financial strategies that align with our business objectives, driving financial excellence and strategic growth.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Oversee financial planning, risk management, and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives, leading financial reporting and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or similar role, preferably in the tech or education sector, with a strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and data analysis, with proficiency in the use of financial management software.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, able to commit to 2 days a week with flexibility and dedication.
