Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

Are you an IT professional with a strong security focus? Do you have the skills to innovate and influence large-scale digital transformation programmes? We are undertaking multiple large technology transformation projects across our business to revolutionise the way we offer our services and move from on-prem to cloud-based solutions.

About the Role

This newly created position will be integral to enhancing our technical infrastructure and maintaining and ensuring best-in-class security. You will lead on protecting the organisation and ensure that measures are taken to protect the charity's data, information, and services. You will work cross-functionally and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business while working closely with Technology Services colleagues to implement procedural and technical aspects of Security Operations, which includes liaison and engagement with the MSSP/SOC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, optimise, and maintain the network and server, along with data storage infrastructure ensuring robust performance, high availability, and comprehensive support.
  • Lead on the maintenance of the charity's cloud environments, both AWS and Azure tenants, as well as MS 365 and other relevant technologies.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to implement procedural and technical aspects of Security Operations.
Requirements
  • Experience/understanding of FCA rules and regulations along with ITIL experience is preferential but not essential.
  • You will have a proven track record in infrastructure but with a sound understanding of security (anti-virus, firewalls, access control, etc.) and ideally bring knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001/CIS/NIST.
