About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with expertise in AI to join our team at hedgehog lab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing high-performance, scalable Python solutions that drive innovation and delight our clients.

With a strong background in Python development and AI, you will leverage your expertise in modern web frameworks, databases, and AI/ML techniques to conceptualise and deliver tailored digital products aligned with our user-centric approach.

You will lead complex AI-powered Python projects from concept to deployment, collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary teams to deeply understand our clients' needs and translate them into robust, future-ready architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable Python solutions that meet our clients' needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver tailored digital products
  • Lead complex AI-powered Python projects from concept to deployment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Python, AI, and ML to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge

Requirements:

  • Multiple years of hands-on experience with Python development
  • Expertise in core Python libraries and frameworks
  • Experience with popular ML/DL libraries and frameworks
  • Familiarity with deploying and scaling AI/ML models in production environments
  • Experience working with the Serverless AWS Framework
  • Proficiency in Django and Django Rest Framework
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, security, and scalability
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and ORMs (preferably Django/SQLAlchemy)
  • Working knowledge of Git, Continuous Integration, and other supporting systems
  • Experience with MLOps practices and tools for automating the AI model lifecycle
  • Knowledge of mobile-specific AI/ML scenarios, such as on-device inference, federated learning, or privacy-preserving techniques
  • Familiarity with web application architecture patterns that enable scalable and fault-tolerant AI/ML-powered features
