About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and contributing to the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation of care and treatment for individuals with mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Act as a role model, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism within the team.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Experience in a forensic mental health care setting, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and empower team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
