Job Title: Teacher of Employability Skills

At Bournemouth & Poole College, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher of Employability Skills to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen careers.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs, including identifying learning objectives, designing study materials, and planning course delivery.
  • Design and deliver high-quality learning experiences using a range of teaching methods, ensuring that teaching is based on current best practice and meets high standards.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, adhering to agreed procedures and protocols.
  • Manage student issues within established protocols, ensuring the health and safety of students and staff.
  • Engage with employers and support organizations to promote stakeholder relationships and enhance student outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths qualifications.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years.
  • Experience in facilitating learning in educational or workplace settings.
  • Current evidence-based practice in the field of expertise.
  • Awareness of awarding organization requirements.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
