We are currently seeking a skilled Healthcare Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our office-based team, providing a thorough secretarial and administrative support to a selection of private medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing both in-person and virtual patient consultation scheduling.
- Facilitating the prompt preparation of medical documentation.
- Collaborating with hospital staff and external suppliers.
- Ensuring the timely distribution of clinic dictations.
- Assisting with various office tasks as needed on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a secretarial role or within a medical administrative environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
- Exceptional typing proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as patient management systems.
- A professional and compassionate telephone demeanor.
- Experience with DGL Practice Manager (Clanwilliam Health) is a plus.
