We are currently seeking a skilled Healthcare Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our office-based team, providing a thorough secretarial and administrative support to a selection of private medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing both in-person and virtual patient consultation scheduling.
  • Facilitating the prompt preparation of medical documentation.
  • Collaborating with hospital staff and external suppliers.
  • Ensuring the timely distribution of clinic dictations.
  • Assisting with various office tasks as needed on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a secretarial role or within a medical administrative environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Exceptional typing proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as patient management systems.
  • A professional and compassionate telephone demeanor.
  • Experience with DGL Practice Manager (Clanwilliam Health) is a plus.
