We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials from suppliers to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience of current Forecasting and Supply Chain principles (Essential)
- Strong supply planning experience (inbound into country, outbound to customer)
- Ability to work assertively to debate/challenge forecasts or tackle issues and reach a consensus between all parties
- Logical common sense and proactive approach to problem solving
- Good Excel level (Pivot Tables & Vlook-up's). SAP, ERP/MRP user knowledge
- Excellent organisational and administration skills & attributes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Fluent in ENGLISH (verbally and Written)
- Team Player
