About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with statutory obligations and refining our health and safety processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring they are up-to-date and communicated effectively to all employees.
  • Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas related to health, safety, and welfare at work.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments for work equipment and operations, and implement measures to mitigate any identified risks.
  • Lead safety inspections, audits, and checks, including field visits to installers, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
  • Monitor and review safety inspections, risk assessments, and lone working procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant health and safety legislation and communicate changes to the business.
  • Provide regular reports to the management group on health and safety activities and participate in monthly meetings as required.
Requirements
  • National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) or equivalent.
  • Desirable: National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (NEBOSH) and NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
