Spire Clare Park Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Surgical Ward Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our nursing team.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires a high level of autonomy and flexibility. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our clinical team in providing high-quality care to patients, while also supporting the nursing team with routine tasks and duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient care and support, including moving and setting up diagnostic equipment and resources.
  • Apply technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment, as trained.
  • Have experience or a willingness to learn Venepuncture and ECG Recording.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent.Minimum 6 months experience in a hospital setting.Venepuncture experience is essential.Strong communication skills.Must be a car driver.
