Position: Shop Manager – Full Time

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated shop manager for our retail outlet. This is a permanent full-time role with a variety of shifts, requiring flexibility across the week, including weekends.

The salary for this role ranges from £31,000 to £44,270.14 based on a 45-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and engage in daily operations to ensure the efficient running of the shop.
  • Inspire and motivate your team to deliver excellent service and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of team members through effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Ensure accountability for shop operations, focusing on customer care, timely deliveries, and adherence to shop protocols for cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage key operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll, to meet performance indicators, reporting directly to the area manager.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective working relationships.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, as your role is vital to the team’s success.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or assistant managerial role.
  • A full driving license is preferred; however, candidates without one are still encouraged to apply if they meet other criteria.
