Lead Refrigeration Systems Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our Industrial Refrigeration team at Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier maintenance services for Industrial Refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine scheduled maintenance on Chillers & Industrial Refrigeration systems on site.
- Perform inspections to assess the condition of Refrigeration systems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and service industrial refrigeration/chiller systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs.
- Carry out system PPM as per contract requirements, communicating clearly findings and any further actions required.
- F-GAS 2079 card and Ammonia handling certification.
- Experience in working with Ammonia & Co2 systems.
- Experience with major manufacturers such as Frick, York, Carrier, Trane, Daikin.
- Electrical and controls experience to be able to identify and rectify electrical and control issues.
- Ability to analyse relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
- Capable of working without documented procedures and with limited supervision.
- A committed can-do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
