About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at New College Bradford. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus and promotional calendars to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute communication strategies to build catering revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational, and environmental policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous management experience and cheffing experience essential.
  • DBS check required.
  • E-learning available to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate and Health and Safety.
  • Confident chef and leader with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
