We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our Aqueous manufacturing team in the Dispensary and Sterile Filtration areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, with experience in a similar role or a scientific/engineering background.

  • Project Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of Dispensary, Sterile Filtration, and Stock Solution projects under the guidance of the Primary Production Manager.
  • Schedule Management: Ensure the timely completion of Manufacturing and Freeze dryer schedules.
  • Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to new operators in the Dispensary, Sterile Filtration, and Stock Solution operations, as well as associated activities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously strive to introduce efficient new ways of working, reduce costs, and enhance safety and quality within the area.
  • Delegation and Support: Deputize for the Primary Production Manager in their absence, as required.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the annual stock check for Aqueous Production and coordinate with Finance and Planning.
  • Team Management: Effectively manage the recruitment and headcount for the team, as well as develop training and development plans and conduct performance reviews.
  • Shutdown Coordination: Co-manage the bi-annual shutdown with Engineering and coordinate any required works.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
