Job Title: Complex Needs Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care, medication administration, and assisting with daily activities. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring that each individual receives the care and support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care and medication administration.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as laundry, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with our team to ensure each individual receives the care and support they need.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies, parents, carers, and services to ensure a person-centered approach.
  • Contribute to the development of records and support plans, and act as a Keyworker when required.
  • Support and maintain a clean-living environment, appropriate to meet the individual's needs.
  • Participate in regular and ongoing training, relevant to the individual's needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A calm and patient approach, with a willingness to work with individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team and other agencies.
  • A strong understanding of the needs of individuals with complex needs, and the ability to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs, or a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • A UK driving license, with a willingness to drive an alternative vehicle.
