Collaboration: The RSP has served as a significant unifying theme for various teams, linking their efforts to key RSP initiatives over the past months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist leadership in establishing a pragmatic strategy for responsible scaling that enhances safety standards across the industry, influences regulatory frameworks, and reduces catastrophic risks associated with models.
- Engage in internal discussions to explore diverse solutions to safety challenges, integrating insights into the overarching policy and disseminating findings to industry stakeholders and regulators.
- Continuously refine and enhance the original policy by investigating methodologies from established risk management and operational safety sectors.
Exploration of Insights: We anticipate deriving valuable lessons from fields such as nuclear security, biosecurity, systems safety, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, and cybersecurity.
Team Development: Our goal is to assemble a multidisciplinary team dedicated to assimilating the most pertinent and beneficial practices from these domains.
Work Environment: We are a rapidly expanding, diverse team focused on implementing Anthropic's Responsible Scaling Policy (RSP) and pioneering advanced safety protocols throughout the organization.
Areas of Focus: Our initiatives encompass threat assessment, AI safety evaluations, technical and operational risk management, and governance frameworks for responsible AI innovation.
Testing Frameworks: We are committed to designing and executing comprehensive testing protocols to proactively identify and evaluate potential risks within Anthropic's AI systems.
Current Openings: We are actively seeking leads for three critical work streams: Evaluations Manager, Safety Cases Manager, and Risk Manager.
