About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with young people who require additional support to access mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized learning sessions to young people with SEN needs
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support network
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
  • Contribute to the development of our online platform, LEAP, to enhance student engagement and progress tracking
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with young people with SEN needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
